1st and 2nd of October 2024: Enjoy Sicily and its tastes!
The third edition of the Food&Drinks Mission2Sicily is organised by Sicindustria, coorganised by partners of Enterprise Europe Network (the Business Network of the European Commission), Agrifood Sector Group, and sponsored by Unioncamere Sicilia (Union of the Chambers of Sicily).
The match-making event brings together Sicilian producers and international buyers.
This is a unique opportunity to generate new business contacts and contracts. The model is time - and cost efficient and result in business! Meetings will take place in a dedicated area and will be arranged in advance by means of this website.
Who can participate?
- International Buyers: Importers,distributors, wholesalers of food and drinks (including wine and spirits); Food chains representatives, Hypermakets/Supermarkets, Purchase agents for hotels and restaurants, Specialty food&wine stores, E-commerce marketplace, and others.
- Sicilian Producers
Registration fee for Sicilian producers
EUR 100 - A fee of 100 euros (+VAT) is requested to all Sicilian companies who want to participate in the event. The cost includes:
- 1st of October - Participation in the B2B event with own desk (planned session during the morning and the afternoon)
- 1st of October - Morning and evening tasting sessions for the international buyers. Producers can express their interest in being involved
- 2nd of October - Company visits for the international buyers (producers can express their interest in hosting the buyers)
- Full assistance from the organisation before, during, and after the event.

Hosted Buyers Programme
Buyers can benefit from a 100% free travel and accommodation which includes the following costs:
- Return tickets to/from Sicily
- Accommodation (3 nights in a 4* hotel)
- Transfer from/to airport
- Working lunch during the B2B meetings
- Participation in the networking activities
- Support in the organisation of the company visits on the 2nd of October
- Full assistance from the organisation before, during and after the event
To apply, buyers need to register in the platform.
Applications will be evaluated individually, and approved by Sicindustria and the Union of the Chambers of Sicily following these criteria: registration date; turnover; year of establishement.**Participating buyers must have capacity of decision in their companies.
